Major reports about how climate change affects the US are removed from websites

Websites hosting major US climate reports taken down

The Associated Press reports that as of July 1, 2025, the government website hosting the U.S. national climate assessments- the legally mandated reports detailing the effects of climate change on the United States- have gone dark. CCASS head and coordinator of the 2014 version of the report, Kathy Jacobs was contacted for the article and called the removal of the report from public view "censoring science."
